Our Vision
The Australian Chinese Jockey Club (ACJC) is more than a racing club—we are a community united by a shared passion for horse racing, meaningful connections, and cultural engagement.
Our vision is to strengthen the relationship between the Asian community and the Australian racing industry by creating opportunities to connect, learn, and participate. Through exclusive events, industry access, networking opportunities, and memorable experiences, we aim to foster a welcoming environment where members can build lasting relationships while enjoying the excitement of thoroughbred racing.
As a not-for-profit organisation, ACJC is committed to delivering exceptional value to our members, supporting the continued growth of the racing industry, and making a positive contribution to the wider community.
Our Mission
The Australian Chinese Jockey Club (ACJC) is a prestigious not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to:
- Connecting Chinese and Asian racehorse enthusiasts, owners, and aspiring owners to build a strong and influential community within the Australian racing industry.
- Promoting the sport of thoroughbred racing and inspiring greater participation by introducing the enjoyment and rewards of racehorse ownership.
- Assisting local and overseas members who wish to acquire and participate in Australian racehorse ownership through trusted industry connections and guidance.
- Building strong partnerships with racing clubs, industry organisations, and community groups to create opportunities that benefit both our members and the wider racing industry.
- Providing members with exclusive invitations to premier racing events, networking functions, behind-the-scenes experiences, and other unique opportunities not readily available to the public.
- Upholding the principles of responsible gambling and promoting racing as a sport, lifestyle, and community experience.
- Reinvesting surplus funds into charitable initiatives and community projects, reflecting our commitment to giving back and creating a lasting positive impact.
Through the Club’s active participation in all racing activities, not only do we lead the Asian community to the sport, we also provide our community of Asians a means to assimilate into the Australian society and a platform to “give back” to the community. The Club plans to provide some of its surplus funds to charities working for the community and for the welfare of horses, particularly after they retired. By way of an example, the Club considers contributing an extra levy $10 per month per share and part of the prize money towards the re-homing of each racehorse, ensuring our horses are well looked after.
