03 Dec Siren Rock finished 2nd on debut race at Kyneton today
What a dashing run by our part-owned SIREN ROCK to finish second on debut in the bet365 Top Tote Plus 3YO Maiden Plate at Kyneton this afternoon.
The three-year-old gelding son of Lonhro was held together in third-last and gave the winner (and odds-on favourite) Vespertine a four-length start on the turn. He conceded further ground, circling the field five-wide, but rallied strongly under jockey Lachlan Neindorf to close the gap to a length.
Siren Rock was bought by Musk Creek Farm for AUD$170,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast National Weanling Sale in 2018, from the Aquis Farm draft. He now races with us in partnership with our loyal friends at the Australian Chinese Jockey Club.
Well done to trainers Freedman Racing and our fellow owners, as we embark on what is building to be an exciting ride ahead!
